What is the minimum order quantity for OEM surgical instruments?

For standard catalogue items the minimum order quantity starts at 50 pieces per reference. For fully bespoke instruments requiring new tooling or forging dies, we usually recommend 100–250 pieces per reference so that tooling cost stays commercially viable for the importer.

Which steel grades are used in your surgical instruments?

Reusable instruments are produced from German-standard martensitic stainless steels such as AISI 410, 420 and 420B for cutting and holding instruments, and austenitic AISI 304 / 316L for retractors, trays and non-cutting components. Titanium Grade 5 is available for micro instruments and bipolar forceps. Material certificates for every heat lot are supplied on request.

Are SalarSurgicals instruments CE marked and FDA registered?

Yes. Our manufacturing site operates an ISO 13485:2016 certified quality management system, our reusable instrument families are CE marked under the applicable EU regulation, and our establishment is registered with the US FDA. Technical files, declarations of conformity and lot traceability records are shared with distributors under NDA.

What are typical lead times and shipping terms for export orders?

Repeat catalogue orders typically ship in 15–25 working days; first OEM production runs with laser marking and custom packaging take 30–45 working days. We quote on FOB Karachi, CIF and DDP terms and ship by air courier, air freight or sea freight with full commercial, packing and conformity documentation.

Can you laser mark our brand, catalogue numbers and lot codes?

Yes. Fiber laser marking of brand logo, catalogue reference, lot number, material code and CE symbol is standard in our OEM programme, followed by passivation so that markings survive repeated autoclave and washer-disinfector cycles.
